I sold 4 paintings this weekend. The art sale was sluggish, due to crappy weather and crappy economic mood. However, I sold 4 more paintings than I would have sitting home.
I got back at it today. While sitting there listening to the shoppers' remarks I thought of a zillion things I want to paint.

Nice display! Did Gerry make that? Jon JUST finished my display stands and they did turn out nice, albeit a little late for my taste.
Where's your name plaque? I'm waiting for mine to be stained. Just watch, I'll have stain on my hands while I'm on T.V. sweating! Ha, ha!

It didn't occur to me to have a name plaque until I was sitting there and somebody came up and asked who did the paintings. This show was in a home with people staked out in different rooms. All the others had participated in the past and none of them had any signage. I think we all need it next time.snesse
Congratulations! Which four sold? I think it's really funny that you didn't have your name on the display. When I started painting, I wasn't sure about even signing my paintings. It seemed too "pushy." (I've come a long way since then.)
Balance, Lemon, Afternoon on Kimberly #2 and Aubergine #1 sold. Next time I will have signage that includes my website. I did have cards to hand out with my site and email addys. DOH!
Four paintings, that's pretty amazing in current ecomic clime. Get that name plate!
