Aubergine #3

My favorite of the three paintings!  5" x 7" oil on masonite, $75.

For some reason this one just talks to me.  Maybe it's the composition?

Also it captures the incredible purple glamour which some eggplants possess.

Eggplants don't feel like they look. They look like jewels and feel like flesh. At least to me. Glad you liked it.

I know just what you mean!

I think they are great! You are very talented! You are almost at the edge of abstract! Also, I love that you use oil, do you use any glosses or varnishes?

Thanks for your kind comments! Sometimes I spray on Kamar varnish, which is like Damar. Sometimes I leave it alone. I have been busy on several abstract pieces for a small show in mid-November and will be posting them soon.
